Vying for your time with not a minute to spare,
Unusually bitten by your distant stare.
Learning to live, can you blame my love?
Never knowing that knowledge you rarely spoke of.
Every sigh you make, with every sound you speak,
Rarely have I fallen to such mystique.
Able, not ready was the subtle fear
Belittled by ignorance never shedding your tear.
Lying awake wondering, I attempted to plot,
Even if I'm sorry baby, sadly, you have lost your shot.
