Honesty
Has no
Place -
In this
World.

When I was
Honest -
With you,
And told you
How much I
Loved you…
You said -
Never to write
Such thoughts
To the one
You love,
But to write
Someplace
Else, for instance,
In a diary.

Now,
I express
My feelings
To the world
And ironically,
You come
Searching
My poems…
Just to see if I
Still love you.

Don't know
Why a man
Takes for
Granted -
The woman
Who loves him.

When he loses her
To the world…
He hopes, she'll
Come back to him.

But times gone by
Never come back,
My friend.
Some love stories
Have a very sad
End.
