1.2009 నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గాల పున‌ర్విభ‌జ‌న‌లో భాగంగా నంద్యాల అసెంబ్లీ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గం లో నంద్యాల టౌన్, నంద్యాల రూర‌ల్ తో పాటుగా గోస్పాడు మండ‌లం చేరింది. ప్ర‌స్తుత శాస‌న మండ‌లి ఛైర్మ‌న్ ఎన్.ఎం.డి ఫ‌రూక్ మూడు సార్లు ఎన్నిక‌య్యారు. మాజీ మంత్రి శిల్పా మోహ‌న‌రెడ్డి కాంగ్రెస్ నుండి ఇదే నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గం నుండి రెండు సార్లు గెలిచారు. నంద్యాల నియోజ‌క వ‌ర్గంలో ఆంధ్రా ప్రాంతం నుండి వ‌చ్చిన సెటిల‌ర్లు ఎక్కువ‌గా క‌నిపిస్తారు.
