1.2009 నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గాల పున‌ర్విభ‌జ‌న లో భాగంగా జ‌రుగుమ‌ల్లి, మర్రిపూడి మండ‌లాలు కొండెపి నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గంలో చేరాయి.1955 నుండి 2004 వ‌ర‌కు జ‌న‌ర‌ల్ గా ఉన్న ఈ నియోజ‌క‌వ‌ర్గం 2009 లో ఎస్సీల‌కు రిజ‌ర్వ్ అయింది. ఇక్క‌డ నుండి ఇద్ద‌రు మాజీ మంత్రులు పోటీ చేసి శాస‌న‌స‌భ‌కు ఎన్నిక‌య్యారు. జివి శేషు ఇక్కడ ఒక సారి, సంతనూత‌ల‌పాడు నుండి మరోసారి పోటీ చేసి గెలిచారు. చెన్నారెడ్డి క్యాబినెట్‌లో మంత్రిగా ప‌ని చేసారు.
