Anuenue Playground

The cool, green town of Waimea (a.k.a. Kamuela) is home to what could be Hawaii's best playground. Anuenue Playground, an incredible wooden wonderland, was built and is maintained by the entire community. It's a must-visit stop as we pass through on our way from Hilo to Kapa'au. Given the subject matter, there's a lot of shaky handheld camera work here (including an ill-advised trip down a slide), which doesn't necessarily mix with the HD widescreen format.
