Anti-rape law bill delayed
Description
The Union cabinet met on Thursday (March 7) but did not discuss new anti-rape law over disagreement between ministries on lowering the age of consent and use of the word rape, reports said. The Home Ministry has suggested that the age of consent be lowered from 18 to 16 years but there was no consensus.
