Anti-lnterlok Rally application rejected
Description
Police from the Dang Wangi district headquarters today visited the HRP office in Bangsar Utama delivering a letter of rejection for the anti-Interlok rally planed for Sunday February 27 at the landmark Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
HRP through its KL chief SW Sambulingam had applied for a permit on February 11 to hold the rally.
The party has 24 hours to submit an appeal.
Protem secretary-general P Uthayakumar said that the rejection was proof that Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein and the Inspector General of Police had lied when they claimed that there was no application to hold the rally.
