Description

The clouds roll in
The sky turns black
Birth comes from the eye of the storm
In a shack by a lake
The lightning strikes
Life begins long before the calm

From a baby boy
To a teenage punk
A tear-away hounded by fate
Into a life of crime
A fall from grace
Tortured and forced to hate

Growing up on the street
No family to own
Feeling old long before his time
One night in desperation
Going out of control
Little more than his life on the line

He wakes in the night
Screaming in his head
Ghosts of the past come calling
His mind can’t cope
He’s grown too old
And he feels that he is falling

The day is dark
His is laid to rest
Thunder echoes in the distance
The storm returns
It is clear to see
The time has passed to be resistant

There is time to ask
If the boy was bad
Or was he just misunderstood
The new birth opens
The circle once more
Is there a chance he could be good?

The next of kin
To a life of sin
Night breed in the form of man
In the dead of night
Fires blazing bright
A pilot with no permission to land
He’s the devil in disguise.
