Remembering you
Thinking of how we used to laugh
Conversations just to make some talk
Grab a hold of the chalk

Draw this out in the park
Every time I gaze at your face
Reminds me of resurfaced times
As I burn this incense in memory of

The tip of it sparks red as a standing point
Testimony of my respect for you
Dancing smoke carried by the wind
Soothes my aching mind and heart

Deep down in the earth
I hope you know that you are missed
Wouldn't mind hanging out with this
So that's why I'm doing this

In detail inside its funny
To feel anger at almighty
Since we can't chill anymore
I wonder why I even bother

Living life alone separately
Secured my solitude
Locked the past from us
There isn't much I can pray for

As I let my own fears take over
Gripping my sheets face down beneath
Pulling together now thanks to truth
Tragedies occur but I shouldn't let go

Thankful for visiting me in dreams
Illusion or not I'm glad to see you gleam
My day gets prouder knowing your still here
I might say it just turns fonder coming back here

I'd sing a aloud but I still can't find the sound
To match the ground layered down upon your mound
Segments of grass crawling over
Like new skin for your new look

Back to the circle you'll book
Well it was great to see you my friend
Swell wishes to you and know I praised
The blessing to have been able to meet you
