Heron stands in the estuary
fluid with light
the tide turns
ripples trace their forefinger along the shoreline
touching the earth like lovers
the energy is as taut as a violinist's bow
drawing itself slowly across my heart
and in that moment I yearn for everything that is yet to unfold
yearn for those things that have past
and everything which exists trembling in this very moment.....
....now past
