i slowly waltz
down the plank
i close my eyes
and i am blank

dread tomorrow
like i dreaded today
its always pointless
its all the same
this mundane life
conversations replay
its a broken record
its all the same

a million reasons to give up
but one to stay

hang nail sting
biting lip
soft supple plate
exhilirating scent
nervous sweat
bated breath
young arched crevase
weepy mourning
simple thought
why talk? why talk?
