Announcing Major Changes on Patreon

From the very beginning of the CheapRVliving website, I had determined to never charge for the information that I gave out and I have stayed true to that. So I struggled with what to do for Patreon. It's the American way that if someone pays they get something in return and the more they pay the more they want in return. So what was I going to give as a reward if it couldn't be my knowledge?

The only thing left was access to me. So Patreon was set up so that the more you paid the greater was your access to me.

That always felt wrong to me, I don't want to be for sale. So we're changing it. We're going to continue with the tiers giving you different choices on how you support us. But, there will only be one reward for everyone no matter what they give. I fully understand that is the opposite of the American way. "You pay more you get more".

But in the CRVL community, I am trying to build a tribe based on the idea that we're here to give and everyone is treated equally.

A community where a person’s worth is not based on their wealth.

Starting on January 1, 2019 there is only one tier of rewards which is the following:

· Polls
· Blog Content
· Behind the Scenes Photos and Videos
· Drone footage
· And in-depth video interviews with me

For those of you who are already members, we hope that you will continue to support us, but we'll understand if you choose not to. If you aren't supporting me now, I hope you will at least consider it if you believe in what I'm doing.

Anyone can change their donation amount simply by going to their account , under memberships and you can choose to enter any amount you would like to give for my Patreon Page.

Rewards will be honored for the RTR 2019 meet up. On January 1st we will remove the upper-level rewards from the Patreon website.
