Annie Lewis - When Will It Change

Fall has taken a cold turn.
Feels like winters in the air.
It's almost a whole year later, and nothings changed at all.
He called my lie betrayal, and with that in his eyes we can't be.
Funny how we can still make love, but to be with me he cannot forsee.
He thought he was slick and slept with me to get me to sign the divorce paper, I guess God had other plans because you see three weeks later I found out we we're having a baby. That put the divorce off till June, but it didn't change his mind.
The holidays are comming, this years still me and my daughter plus my growing belly alone.
He'd rather be alone, my lie was about letters that wouldn't of existed if he would of listened. They we wrong but so is he, leaving a marriage, leaving me.
I must be a fool because every ounce of me wants him back. I love him but how can trust come back when he doesn't even try? How can lies kill love, how can it kill something sent from GOD. How can a man pick to live alone instead of with his wife and family. How does he deny an unborn baby that didn't ask to be here?
Seasons change, but my question is 'when will it change? ' When can my heart begin to beat, a day when it doesn't feel defeat..................?
