Anne jojo - Africa

Oh beautiful continent
sleeping giant
with your own unique
sense of timing
you have it all
no wonder
it does't bother you
this advancing madness
coz you're content
it seems
with life as it is
but look at what ails you
they call it
sickness and poverty
which was never
A problem before
because we lived
with the problem
now we are struggling in the dark
gropping in darkness
trying to balance
our posiyion
of coping with new
ideas that
never meant a thing
before
we are in a hurry
but we are not in a hurry
but we are happy
coz we still have
humanity in us
and the spirit of brotherhood
and family
still lives on
