Annabel Lee - Not really a poem

Never again, I told myself it was the end.
I would never trust another 'friend'.
I could never love another soul if ever again I should feel whole.
And for this reason every night I would cry, pray for love and look out at an empty sky.
But you made me want to try, to love again, my best friend, my true love, sent from above.
What I have been praying for, waiting for and dreaming of.
Every thought I have, every prayer I pray, you are in my soul every second of every day.
This peace and wholeness.
This sweet forgiveness.
This joy overflowing and sunshine lighting blue skys.
This healing.
I love you.
You complete me, never trying to defeat me.
These words will not touch what I am feeling right now.
But I can see that you know, you just know it somehow.
Words that don't have to be said.
