Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, spoke to Jay Leno on the late night talk show The Tonight Show.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) ANN ROMNEY, WIFE OF REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE MITT ROMNEY, SAYING:
"... Four years ago, I made a videotape and on the videotape and I looked in the camera and I said, 'Mitt, this is for you sweetheart,' I am never doing this again."

"On a serious note, talk about the significance, if he gets elected, being the first Mormon president."
(SOUNDBITE) (English) ANN ROMNEY, WIFE OF REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE MITT ROMNEY, SAYING:
"Well, you know, I love the fact that we have the first African-American president, that means to me that we are leaving prejudices behind. I would hope that if Mitt were elected we would see more of the same."
TV chat shows have become a popular tool for politicians to show their human side. Obama became the first sitting U.S. President to appear on a late-night talk show when he was a guest on "The Tonight Show" in March 2009.
