ANKLE BRACELETS OR BAIL AMENDMENT, WHICH OPTION?

An Opposition Senator is calling for the full implementation of the electronic monitoring system involving ankle bracelets, saying it is a better option to restricting bail.

This, as the Minister in the Ministry of the Attorney General called on the Opposition to support amendments to the Bail Act.

And the Attorney General announced that his office is working on a comprehensive bail reformation legislative package.
