Hey little bird on the tree...
I m afraid you won't long be free...
The heartless are coming, full of rage...
To capture and put you in a cage...
Your beautiful singing voice will somewhere be lost...
And you little bird will be sold for a cost...
A cage, in a room, in some house would be your new home...
You won; t be a bird who freely used to roam...
Your new life won't be that much of fun...
No trees, no rain, no being out in the sun...
Your children won't ever feel the comfort of a nest...
Then one day will come when forever you will rest...
Ohh little bird I can't see you in so much of pain...
And if i save you from such a fate, my life won't go in vain...
So fly away where these heartless can't catch you...
Fly into the woods and into the blue...
Seeing you in a cage will make my heart cry...
So fly little bird, fly, fly, fly...
