ANJALI SINHA - *** DESTINY'S CHILD

In the balustrades of fading love,
alone i stand.
The hollowness beguiles me,
the North Star I see
beseeches me,
calls me
to see,
behind that veil
of aggression.

Stood at the window
of googles destiny,
for hours and hours,
just for a glimpse of my fading
Star.
In hushes and whispers
I muttered,
could not but reach you,
but that dart
did reach you
to tell you
of a never so called goodbye

Shall not give up these
pathways,
where the dust of your footprints
will tell,
will remind me
of my fallen days,
shall anoint my forehead,
with the musk
of the earth's footprints you tread,
as a mark
on the slate of my destiny

(This is a story of two lovers who constantly argued and hence their love failed. One of them was endlessly waiting at googles window for some hope --but it never came
A good reminder for all----never take love for granted ---always work on it)
