Anirban Banerjee - Pearl

Bursting from the cloud in the sky
I started my journey to earth
All the while I kept wondering
What will happen to me
Will I fall on the ground and dry up
Will I fall into a river and flow in the sea
Will I get drained away
Will I be part of the flood that take away many lives
Will I be the first dropp on a draught barren land
Will I be able to play with the children
Will I be able to carry their paper boat
I want to be happy
I want to be good
But I do not know what will happen
Until I feel into dark shell and became a pearl
But being a pearl did not make me happy
As I did not have any value
Until I became a jewel which is owned by you
