Anil Kapoor embraces marriage

Anil Kapoor says he believes in marriage and would like to "make films where he encourages marriages to last for many, many years."

The Bollywood actor joked that he never had the chance to date girls as he met his wife at a young age.

"Unfortunately I was stuck with one girl all my life", he said, before adding: "I believe in this institution of marriage and I love it."

The actor, who recently starred in hit series 24 alongside Kiefer Sutherland, married Sunita in 1984 and the couple have two daughters and a son.

The eldest daughter, Sonam, is promoting her new film Aisha, based on Jane Austen's novel Emma, which was produced by her sister Rhea under their father's film company.
