Angry workers set Indian car factory alight

According to workers, events turned violent at an Indian car factory when one of their colleagues was insulted. He was called a 'dalit' - which means a member of lower caste.

Soon after, hundreds of workers armed with sticks and meal rods attacked their managers, before setting parts of the factory alight. But Maruti suzuki, one of india's largest carmakers, insists it was simply an "orchestrated act of mob violence".
