Angelo GIGLI backstage interview

ROMA (Lega A) - Angelo Gigli played for Italy at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan and at last year's EuroBasket in Spain but injury prevented him from joining the Azzurri this summer. The big man is hoping to play for the national team next summer when they take part in the Additional Qualifying Round for EuroBasket 2009 in Poland. Gigli, who is in his first season with hometown club Lottomatica Roma, has also spoken of his hope that Italy will stage the 2014 FIBA World Championship. He gave this interview to FIBA.com.
