I gaze at the moon nestled in black;
And can’t help but think of you,
And it makes my heart fill with blue.
I know that you’re happy;
Having a good time,
But I wish that the clock would just unwind.
To before the games got out of hand;
We stepped over the line,
And now the clock has struck its last chime.
To before you build up my confidence;
And then tore it down,
Because now I feel even worse- like a clown.
To before you made me love so much;
More than any other friend,
And then you just smiled and clicked send.
To before you went and broke my trust;
Never even thinking of what would happen to me,
Because you had found your honey-bee.
And though your relationship has never been so strong,
You left my heart in shatters,
But then again; I don’t really matter.
