</>It’s amazing how quickly you can change my mood,
So much in fact that I feel quite bipolar,
The ups and downs making me sick,
Yet for some reason I keep talking to you.
You batter me, bruise me,
And I come back for more.
I know that to you I am insignificant,
A Pawn next to a King;
And I think that this hurts the most.
I pray, “God give me the strength to leave you, ”
Yet I do not find that He does,
So does that mean that I’m not supposed to?
Or that you’ve put me in checkmate,
And I cannot?
