Angel mine,
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you,
And regret that the pages of my life got in the way.
It seems like decades have gone by since last we talked,
But every day I thought of messaging you,
To make sure you were okay,
And every day I cowered in fear of what you would say.
I should never have let the world get the best of me,
Because the best of me I never had to give since the best of me;
Was you.
But that was a past mistake,
And we know that we can’t go back and change the past-
Only in dreams.
As I sit here,
The rain tapping as if on bamboo,
I know that I have changed,
And I hope that I can show you how.
I don’t blame you if you hate me,
And I wish that I had been as strong now as when I knew you,
Because I would never have let you go.
You would still be holding me,
And I you,
Giving each other sw33t vampyre kisses,
If you would still let me.
But I know that I lost one of the greatest things that happened to me,
I gave up my best friend, someone who understood me,
Because I let the world tear you away,
And this is my greatest regret in life.
So I just wanted to tell you how wonderful you are,
How amazing,
Sw33t,
Kind,
Thoughtful,
Respectful-
And the list goes on.
This is just a very poorly written poem-
A scattering of thoughts,
But later I shall write you a better one,
I just thought that you should know,
That you, Ang3l who was Min3, are one of the greatest treasures in the world.
