Andrew Olson - expectations
0 Views • Nov 08, 2014
Description
they expected me to succeed
they expected me to win
they said they wanted what was best for me
they expected the impossible
they expected the world from me
but i couldn't deliver and i payed the price
i was pushed too far and too hard for too long
i couldnt take it and my life fell apart
i did the best i could
i got knocked down one too many times and couldnt get up
my future was in their hands
they held me too tight
and i was suffocated
and now the only thing in their hands is my corpse
now my soul is free
