Andrew Jones - Stuck

Faster and faster my hope
slides down its slippery slope
now barely visible through a microscope
I don't have anything to say
yet there are so many times of day
when I think back to the last day of May
I feel like I don't even know you
yet I see so much shining through
but I can't as, 'what is new'
my hurt just keeps aching
as I see you genuinely faking
my head is merely shaking
my frustration can't be released
no matter how far my hope has decreased
my life is slowly together being pieced
