Andrew Jones - Soothed

It's a gentle Summer Day
thank God I'm not baling hay
the wind calmly brushes through my hair
and though confusion rushes everywhere
my burden seems strangely light
I cast my cares on you tonight
today was made for lemonaid
and hammocks resting in the shade
watching kids play in the park
hearing the swift soft voice of the lark
this refreshing taste was quite needed
my dismay is now defeated
