Andrew Jones - Sonnet 3

Now this continuation will perhaps
Not be as eloquent as I intend
Yet still in prayer my feelings do not lapse
Yes this infatuation will not bend

And every time you talk to me it seems
I feel as though I am a child again
You’re nothing less than the girl of my dreams
I’m nothing more than lost and fearful when

You look into my eyes so deeply that
There’s nothing I can say to match your gaze
So I sit speechless hoping to find at
Your grace some way to lead me through this maze

You are amazing in all shapes, forms, ways
Just please stay close for more than a few days
