Andrew Jones - Say me

I see you across the room
and try and think of something to say
but when opportunity comes
my words get in my way

whenever I do gather up the courage
you laugh a little and give me a smile
and then I'm left even more speechless
and baffled for a little while

Why can't I just talk to you?
Why can't I think of anything?
Who are you? What's your last name?
Is there interest in me that you bring?

I guess I have no idea
and I'm afraid to find out
if you have ever even noticed me
or reciprocate these feelings I want to shout

Eventually I'll find out
what you are thinking maybe
who is it you're intrigued by
will you please say me
