Andrew Jones - Much Better Men

I cried myself to sleep last night
because I was going to hurt you
how can I truly make things right
is it impossible to do

I tried to think of ways that would
make us both happy in some way
but none of them ever could
so I guess I have to say

I don't love you and never will
I can't be with you any more
and I refuse to help you fill
that hole in your heart which is sore

does it really hurt all that much
or do you just feel alone
and wander aimlessly for my touch
that was only once shown

it will not be shown again
this I guarantee
there are indeed much better men
much better at least than me
