The Lord is my strength and my song
He has become my salvation
Why have I struggled with this for so long?
Why this delayed revelation?
Why did I ever doubt your plan?
What made me think I could do it alone?
It doesn’t matter now, I trust your hand
To guide me to where your grace is shown
I feel as if a giant weight has been lifted
From my shoulders, heart, and mind
I’m so sorry I resisted
The Spirit’s presence, which has now shined
I know now there’s only a few things to do
Keep the promises I’ve made,
Remember that I love you,
And whose life for my sins paid
