ANDREW BLAKEMORE - Snowdrops
1 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
Emerging
On this bleak and barren land,
Frozen
Through winter
By nature's icy hand.
Cold winds
Blowing
As green shoots start to grow,
Slowly
But surely
The budding petals show.
Sunrise
Now shining
Flowers in full bloom,
Gleaming
So brightly
Like beacons in the gloom.
Springtime
Such colours
The flowers are abound,
Covering the remnants
Of that bleak and barren ground.
