I pressed my hand
Against the tree’s trunk
And it was rough and cracked
Just like your heart…
I pressed my face
Against the window
And it was warm -
The sun was shining bright
Felt like the time
I pressed my head
Against your chest, that day,
My lips against your skin…

So could you press your soul
Against my own, tonight
And tell me how it feels?
Just for the sake of science…
