I've slept a thousand nights alone,
let the noise of silence seep deep through my bones

and far myself I've thrown,
drowned out all my screams and my groans

thought I'd find peace in the vastness of this tomb
turns out only rage can build the fire
and make you burn bright


Can't break the broken,
Can't blacken the night,
Once you tear me apart there'll be nothing left inside



Walked a few miles south of hope,
heard the sound of dragging feet and knew it was me

pulling hard at the end of my rope,
and hope is all that's left but what's this hope to be?
