Anders Lim - Christ

He saved my soul an eternity of pain
I worship him as my Lord
The ship of heavens has set sail in His name
As He humbly welcomed me aboard

Crucified upon a wooden cross
Shedding his final blood and tears
Clenching his teeth He bit his loss
Isolating all His fears

For three days He laid alone
Burning in the depths of hell
Radiant lights followed the splitting stone
As He conquered that sinful cell

His holy name spread forth to nations galore
As many followed His righteous path
Refuge’s wings have finally set soar
To those who believe in His wrath

I feel honored to know this friend
Who died so I could live
He has cleansed me from start to end
And for every sin, He will forgive

I feel honored to worship His name
For He is my sword and spear
My only desire is to shout His fame
And tell the world that Christ is here
