Upon the snow
Atop the hill
I spread my arms in a multitude of chills

Blocks of ice
Drifting away
Moving with the sun through the course of the day

Above the ocean
Way up high
Lay the dark blanket in the magnificent sky

Cross the horizon
The sets down low
Turning my shadow into an orange glow

Winds of the North
They blow so strong
Whistling through the breezes in a picturesque song

Bright lights flicker
Of green, yellow and red
As if the stars have continually bled

Beneath the heavens
Their blood flows down
Spreading across the sky without a single sound

I broke the silence
Releasing a cry
Voices echoed in a sheer reply

Closing my eyes
Extending both hands
I know that this is my motherland
