ANC denies DA's claims

DA's provincial leader, Zwakele Mncwango is accusing Premier Sihle Zikalala of misleading the public. He says Zikalala had previously claimed that Gumede would just be an ordinary member of the provincial legislature. ANC KZN Spokesperson Nhlakanipho Ntombela shares the ANC's reaction to this. The ANC is denying claims that Gumede will be appointed Cooperative Governance Committee Chair in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature. The party says no meeting's been planned to appoint her to that role. It says the DA’s claims are not true.
