Anata, arigato

It is not so sure, that Anata, Arigato is a movie about Tokyo.
Anata, Arigato, that in Japanese would mean You, thank you, is also very probably, even though I could just know it when I came to edit it, a movie about the event : meaning, this « otherness » that, through the passage of time, suddenly happens, announce its own existence, transforms the present.
It can be a city, it can be a person, it can be a petal's flight : it is the point that comes to detone, on the sprawled layer of things.

Il serait délicat d'affirmer qu'Anata, arigato est un film sur Tokyo.
Anata, arigato, qui en japonais signifierait Toi, merci, est aussi probablement, sans que j'aie pu le savoir avant qu'il soit monté, un film sur l'événement : entendu comme, cette altérité, qui dans le cours du temps, advient, annonce son existence, ressaisit le présent.
Ce peut être une ville, une personne, ce peut être le vol d'un pétale : c'est le point qui détone dans la nappe étalée des choses.
