Ananta Madhavan - Prison

When he was sent to jail
The warder did decree
His cell should be
Perfectly circular.


I attribute his madness
To this encircling doom.
For in his room
Not driven into corners,


He compulsively
Groped for the centre -
Thus did he enter
The orbed madhouse.
