Analysts WTHO cover QL Resources were largely mixed in their view on whether the firm's conditional voluntary takeover for Lay Hong will succeed but agree that the offer of RM3.50 is a good deal. Analysts were divided on whether the Yap Family and related parties who control 44.17 per cent of Lay Hong may reject the deal or negotiate a mutually beneficial one.
