ana velez - Rose Red

There once was a rose ever so white
she stood so beautiful, fully alive.
Everything that stands will fall
and break, like a glass doll.

She was naive because she thought
that she would never get harmed
but she was wrong..dead wrong
she was weaker then she was strong

and in this story really sad
the white rose became crimson red
she took a chance herself she opened
now full of scars she is broken

because this rose once held high
when she fell she said good-bye.
