You’re the reason I sit here and cry
The reason I feel so bad
You make me feel like I’m meant to die
Like I was born to be sad

You make me think I’m useless,
You make me believe I’m mad
But the worst thing of all of this
You’re meant to be my dad

You’re meant to bring me up and say
‘You’ll achieve if you believe’
But instead of that you throw me down
And beat me till I bleed

You don’t think that I have feelings?
You don’t care at all what I think
You hit me coz I am smaller than you
And because you’ve had a drink

Times like this make me want to tell mum
But I don’t want you to go to jail
Although you are a horrible man
I know I was brought up to fail

I know deep down you’re right about me
I am a worthless piece of crap
And I know deep down I deserve a hit
A kick, a punch, a slap

So thank you daddy, thanks a lot
I know you just mean well
But I’ll always remember the one thing you did
How you made my life living hell
