Another day I miss seeing your face
The bells ring alarmingly in my head
Saying, asking, wondering,
Why does this heart continue to beat?
Because Life is so unfair
And this tearstained tissue is just a reminder

Building our hopes and dreams and even realities
Up
Just to have them destroyed
The only wish I’d wish will never come true
Because I’ve lost you
They’ve lost you
Our dearest friend, we all love and miss you more and more each day

And I don’t bother to wipe my tears, as I know there are just more to come
So I’ll stop the clock, just to have a constant reminder of you
But the sun still shines
Flowers still grow
Memories stay loved
And the world is continually continuing
Just for the loving memory of you
