Amy Fifita - Time Heals

The stress and pain of every ones life,
Causes wounds of painful strife.
Give it time is what they say,
But it will never go away.

Wounds may lessen as does pain,
But when it gets bigger we go insane.
We hide it up for no one to see,
But the wound is still there, we let it be.

It may seem that no one is there,
To be alone is our greatest fear.
That aloneness is just a feeling,
To believe someone cares is such a healing.

When someone is there to care and love,
We push them away, we give them the shove.
But all they say is over time,
It’ll get better, our lives will shine.

The truth of it all is it’ll never get better,
Although the pain gets lesser and lesser.
But it will be there day by day,
It will never go away.
