Amtrak's Texas Eagle, Bloomington-Normal, IL, 3/26/08

Train #22 (Northbound)
Units: P42s 182 & 204
Consist: Two Sleepers, Diner, Lounge, Three coaches
Time: about 4:45 pm (a little over 5 hours late; would arrive in Chicago about 6 hours or so late)

2 Apologies that I need to make beforehand:
a) that this is shaky as heck - while fending off the Strep Throat, I was also getting used to using mother's camera (hence the superior picture and sound to all the other videos I've uploaded)
b) that this isn't a more recent video - my camera took a blow to the battery chamber when I dropped it. I have to wait until my next paycheck to invest in a good camera.

Other than that, this was part of my Spring Break trip. I did manage to find out that the engineer at the throttle was a guy named Matt, and prior to me shooting this, he was checking something either underside or by the wheels of the lead unit. Whether or not that has anything to do with the smoking the unit(s) do near the end of this shot is unknown to me.
