Ibiza, at the beginning of the 1990s. Jo is twenty years old. He lives in Berlin, is a musician and wants to be part of the electronic music revolution that is just beginning. To start out, the ideal would be to get a job as a DJ in the Amnesia nightclub. Martha has been living alone, beside the sea, for forty years. One night, Jo knocks on her door.
He's intrigued by Martha's solitude. They become friends even though mysteries related to her begin to accumulate: the cello that she no longer plays, the German language that she refuses to speak...  As Jo leads her into the new world of techno music, Martha begins to question the things she was once sure of…
