Amitava Sur - Fragile Toys

So many dreams, so many wishes
Are getting marred and blotted,
Before the whims of time and God's wishes
We are only the mare preys.

We the mortal beings
are only some fragile toys
Governed and ruled only
As they guide all the way.
No way to escape even
The traps what are laid.

There lies the misery
Of this mortal life we get,
Till the final bell rings around
We all have to obey.
Each and everyone of us
Has to pass through these phases.

Nothing we can do besides
Shedding tears and sustaining pain.
We the mortal human beings
are only some fragile toys
