The opening of “I Am Ready” is a radio broadcast with a perplexed broadcaster trying to figure out a worldwide phenomenon that’s causing viewers of Amir’s new video to break out in dance. Even after getting Amir on-air to discuss, the explanation remains unclear. He can’t explain the cause but they have the perfect solution. It’s time to sing it out.

Afterwards, Amir approaches the piano in a studio, pensively ready to record a take. Between expectorants from a nagging cough and the energy emanating from beneath a band aid, it’s clear that there is something magical percolating inside of him. Once the producer, his partner in crime EVS, hits record, Amir launches into a spirited performance. As the studio lights up around them the infectious vibes are soon broadcast onto screens across the globe.
